Life expectancy is rising and that an increasing proportion of the population are over retirement age. We advise families how to plan for the possibility that their elderly relations or themselves may have difficulty dealing with their own affairs. Enduring powers of attorney are sometimes appropriate but if it is too late we can advise on an application to the Court of Protection.
