He grew up in South London. Studied Politics at Nottingham
University and Law at College of Law, London.
Admitted as a Solicitor in 1987.
Benedict lived in Norbury until 2003 and now lives near Sevenoaks. He is married with four children, and pet dog, rat and fish.
A keen golfer, he is a member of The Wildernesse Club and plays for the Law Society Golf Club.
